BFI recently took part in Minda Youth Movement project, EduLink, which aims to furnish students in need with educational devices and connectivity to aid these students for online learning during this pandemic. This project saw the collaborations from three Government-Linked Companies, Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn Bhd (BSP), Imagine and BFI resulting in the distribution of tabs, laptops and sim cards to 44 students.
For BFI’s part, the collective efforts of BFI Employees through its “A Gift From The Heart” internal donation platform have contributed towards the supply of 14 new laptops to support these identified bright minds to continue knowledge attainment and sharing. These new laptops were handed over to the representatives from the Minda Youth Movement on Tuesday, 7th September 2021 by Alif bin Haji Alias, from the IT Department. The distribution of these laptops was carried out on Saturday, 11th September 2021 by Mohammad Hisyam bin Idris from BFI Corporate Communications and Minda Youth Movement members, where the laptops were gifted to the identified students residing in the Belait District.
BFI strongly believes that education should be accessible for all and in these unique and advancing times, hopes that the assistance provided will bring these exemplary leaders of tomorrow closer towards achieving their goals and their full potential. Unified and educated, the nation’s youths will bring the Country closer towards reaching the Wawasan Brunei 2035 goals.
